About Dr. Nathan W. Patterson and Patterson Plastic Surgery

As an experienced and devoted board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Nathan W. Patterson provides individualized care to every person he treats. Dr. Patterson began his career in plastic surgery by obtaining an undergraduate degree in chemistry at the esteemed Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama. During this time, he received several honors including graduating magna cum laude and gaining fellowship in Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Patterson continued his training by completing his Medical Degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. His general surgery training began at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham and was completed at the world renowned Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. From there, he fulfilled his plastic surgery residency at the University of California in San Diego where he worked with numerous internationally recognized plastic, head, neck and maxillofacial surgeons. While in San Diego, he completed multiple medical mission trips to underserved areas of Mexico and gained special recognition for his outstanding teaching efforts.

A highly respected surgeon and sought-after lecturer, Dr. Patterson remains at the forefront of advancements in the Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery industry. He continually incorporates new and improved techniques for his patients. His involvement in the field's leading professional associations includes membership in the American College of Surgeons, Southeastern Surgical Congress, and American Medical Association.

Dr. Patterson specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body and treats patients throughout the Gulf Coast of Florida and Alabama. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals and surgical facilities in the area including the Andrews Institute, Gulf Breeze Hospital, Baptist Hospital, and Sacred Heart Hospital.
